How we handle your information
This notice explains what Kembali Kerja collects, what is shown publicly, who else can see your information, and the choices you keep at all times.

Who is responsible for your data
Kembali Kerja is a corporate social responsibility initiative operated jointly by Dragon Fire and 2Impact Consultancy. Both organisations decide together how jobseeker and employer information is used for this programme, and both are accountable for it.

What we collect and why
Identity and contact information — your real name, phone number, email address and home area. We use these to contact you about your application, to verify that profiles belong to real people, and to send availability reminders through the channels you agree to.
Work information — target roles and industries, skills, work history, qualifications, certifications, languages, years of experience, expected salary range, work arrangement, willingness to relocate, availability, employment status and the date your last job ended. This is what helps employers decide whether to reach out.
Your résumé — if you upload one, it is stored securely and is never shown to employers. We may read it to suggest values for your form; every suggestion is clearly marked and you confirm or discard it.
Usage information — anonymous counts of profile views and interview requests, plus records of messages and reports so our admin team can deal with abuse.
What employers and the public can see
Your public profile shows only: your profile ID (for example KK-1042), your candidate-approved introduction, target roles and industries, broad location (state and, if you allow it, city), skills, languages, certifications, years of experience, work arrangement, willingness to relocate, earliest start date, how long you have been seeking work, and anonymous view and interview-request counts.
Never shown: your real name, phone number, email address, full résumé, identification number, exact address, or any disability (OKU) information.
Disability (OKU) information
The OKU section is optional and private. We do not ask for a diagnosis, an OKU card or medical records. Anything you share there is used only to arrange reasonable workplace support if you later ask us to, and it never affects your ranking in the directory or whether your profile is visible.
Who receives your information
Verified employers see only the public fields above, plus anything you explicitly choose to release to them. Our admin team at 2Impact Consultancy and Dragon Fire can see private details in order to approve profiles, verify employers and handle reports; every such action is recorded in an audit log. Our hosting and database provider processes the data on our behalf under contract. We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising.
Who can see your full details
The public and unverified visitors only ever see your anonymous profile. Employers, training providers and headhunters who pass our admin screening (company-domain email, contact checks and, for agencies, the Private Employment Agency licence where provided) can view your full profile — including your name, contact details and résumé — so they can contact you about real opportunities. This screening exists to keep scammers away from your details. If you do not want verified employers to see your details, you can unpublish your profile at any time from your dashboard.
How we protect it
Real identities are stored separately from public profile data, with access limited to authorised admins. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and résumés are held in private storage that is not publicly reachable.
How long we keep it
[Retention period — to be supplied by the proponents]
Until this is confirmed, we keep your information only for as long as your profile is active or as needed to handle a report, and we delete it on request as described below.
Correcting, deleting and withdrawing consent
You can edit most of your details yourself from your dashboard at any time. Where a date needs correcting — for example the date you became unemployed — an admin can correct it, and the reason is recorded.
To withdraw your consent to publish, unpublish your profile from your dashboard; it disappears from the directory immediately. To request a copy of your data, a correction or deletion, submit a privacy request from your dashboard or write to the privacy contact above. We confirm every request and tell you what action we took.
Payments
A subscription of RM2.99 per month has been proposed but is not active. No payment is required to apply, to be listed, to be messaged, or to confirm your availability, and this will not change until the proponents have reviewed the Malaysian rules on employment services and fees charged to jobseekers.
