Frequently asked questions
Answers for candidates and employers
Kembali Kerja keeps candidate identities private, verifies employers before messaging, and keeps the initiative free for jobseekers.
Admin access
How admins sign in and update records
Admins use the same sign-in page as everyone else. After signing in with an account that already has admin access, open the admin dashboard from the dashboard notice or go directly to the admin page.
From there, admins can approve or reject candidate applications, correct the unemployed-since date with a recorded reason, verify or suspend employers, review reports and messages, manage interview requests, update supporting companies, and adjust availability settings.
There is no public admin sign-up. Admin access must be granted in the backend by an existing authorised operator.
01What is Kembali Kerja?+
Kembali Kerja is a free CSR candidate-visibility initiative by 2Impact Consultancy and Dragon Fire. It allows jobseekers to create anonymous professional profiles that employers can browse independently.
02Who can create a profile?+
Anyone who is currently seeking employment may register. The initiative gives greater visibility to people who have been unemployed for longer periods, but all eligible jobseekers are welcome.
03Is this open to foreigners or expats?+
No, not at this stage. Kembali Kerja is a pilot limited to Malaysian jobseekers, so only Malaysians can create a candidate profile for now.
Any change to this will be announced on the platform.
04Is it free to join?+
Yes. Creating, publishing, updating and renewing your candidate profile is completely free. Kembali Kerja does not charge registration, subscription or placement fees.
05Will my real name be displayed?+
No. Your public profile will use a unique candidate ID, such as KK-1042. Your name, phone number, email address, identity number and exact home address will not be displayed publicly. Only employers who have passed our admin screening can see your full profile.
06What information will employers see?+
Employers may see your:
- Candidate ID
- General location
- Preferred roles
- Skills and qualifications
- Relevant experience
- Preferred work arrangement
- Availability
- Candidate-approved introduction
- Approximate period of unemployment
- Date your availability was last confirmed
You will be shown a preview of your public profile before it is published.
07Why are candidates who have been unemployed longer shown first?+
Kembali Kerja is designed to increase visibility for people who may have been overlooked for a longer time. The directory’s default order is based on the confirmed period of unemployment. It is not a score or assessment of a candidate’s ability.
Employers can still search and filter profiles according to their requirements.
08Does Kembali Kerja recommend or match me with employers?+
No. Kembali Kerja does not match, recommend, shortlist or select candidates. Employers browse the directory and make their own independent decisions.
09How will an employer contact me?+
A verified employer may send you a private message or interview request through the platform. Verified employers can see your full profile, including your contact details and résumé, so they can reach you about genuine opportunities.
10Do I have to reveal my identity to an employer?+
Your identity is hidden from the public. Employers who pass our admin screening can view your full profile, including your name, contact details and résumé. We screen every employer first to keep scammers away from your details. If you would rather not be visible to verified employers, you can unpublish your profile at any time.
11Does an interview request guarantee an interview or job?+
No. An interview request only shows that an employer is interested in speaking with you. It does not guarantee an interview, job offer or employment.
12How do I confirm that I am still seeking work?+
You will be asked to confirm your availability periodically by logging in and selecting “I am still actively seeking employment.” This confirmation is free.
Your profile will display the date on which you last confirmed your availability.
13What happens if I do not confirm my availability?+
Your profile may be temporarily paused after the reminder period ends. It will not be permanently deleted, and you may reactivate it when you are ready to look for work again.
14What should I do after finding a job?+
Update your status to “Employed—hide my profile.” Your public profile will then be removed from the active candidate directory.
15Can I upload my résumé?+
Yes. You may upload your résumé to help complete your profile. The system may suggest information extracted from it, but you must review and confirm the details before they are published.
Your complete résumé is never shown publicly. It is available only to employers who have been approved through our screening.
16Will Kembali Kerja screen or score my résumé?+
No. The platform may check whether required profile fields have been completed, but it will not score your suitability, reject you based on keywords or rank you according to résumé quality.
17Can OKU candidates apply?+
Yes. Kembali Kerja supports inclusive employment. Disclosure of OKU status or accommodation requirements is optional.
Any OKU-related information will remain private unless you specifically choose to share selected information with an employer. It will not reduce your visibility or directory position.
18What does the White Flag icon mean?+
In Malaysia, the White Flag (Bendera Putih) is a voluntary sign that someone is facing serious financial hardship and urgently needs support. A candidate may choose to display it on their public profile to let employers know that timely employment support would be especially meaningful.
The declaration is optional, can be removed, and does not change directory ranking or guarantee an interview or job. Employers should respond respectfully and must not use it to pressure, exploit or discriminate against a candidate.
19How does Kembali Kerja protect my personal information?+
Public profiles are pseudonymous and do not display direct personal identifiers. Personal information is restricted to authorised users and handled according to the platform’s Privacy Notice and applicable Malaysian personal-data requirements.
20Can I edit or delete my information?+
Yes. You may update your profile, pause its visibility or request deletion of your account and personal information, subject to any lawful record-retention requirements.
21What if an employer behaves suspiciously?+
Do not send money, banking passwords, one-time passwords or unnecessary identity documents. Use the platform’s report and block functions immediately. The administration team may investigate and restrict suspicious accounts.
22Does Kembali Kerja guarantee that I will find a job?+
No. Kembali Kerja provides visibility and a communication channel. It does not guarantee interviews, offers or employment. All hiring decisions are made independently by employers.
